Patrick Ryan Jarvis of Chicago, age 36, was welcomed home by the Lord on March 10, 2025.

Dear son of Kevin and Jayne, nee Rydberg Jarvis; loving brother of Kevin (DeAnna); treasured uncle and Godfather of Zachary. Cherished nephew of Patricia and the late Robert Sypniewski, Louis Jarvis and Sue Power, and George and Marlene Rydberg. Beloved cousin of Doug (Beth) Sypniewski and Karen King. Best friend to his loyal canine companion, Jackson.

The youngest of two sons, Patrick was born September 30, 1988 at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn and enjoyed a childhood filled with family, friends, and sports. A loyal fan of Mt. Carmel High School as a youth, Patrick went on to build lasting relationships as a multi-sport athlete there before earning All-American Honors in handball at Lake Forest College, where he graduated with his BA in Business Administration in 2011.

Patrick devoted his career to endlessly pursuing comprehensive estate and insurance planning as a Financial Advisor. His desire to lead his clients to financial wellness was guided by his commitment to serving. Patrick genuinely cared for people. Be it his lifelong friends from the East Side, his trusted coaches and mentors from school and business, or simply the person he met while browsing for new tools at Home Depot; every connection that Patrick made was based on authenticity and kindness.

He enjoyed golf and played memorable rounds across the country. He loved patrolling the Chicago riverwalk with Jackson and found great joy in their adventures together. He will be remembered for his commitment to his faith, family, and friends.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial Visitation, Friday, March 21, 2025, from 10:00am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 8404 South Cass Avenue, Darien, IL.
